ARNG STAY GUARD SURVEY SERIES:
This series of powerful feedback tools is designed to assess Soldiers’ family members’, and leaders’ thoughts, intentions, and recommendations concerning their Guard commitment.
Survey feedback helps ARNG leadership proactively address attrition and retention challenges and refine and develop programs to enhance unit readiness, deployability, and Soldier and family support.
STAY GUARD Recruit Survey:
Designed to help you support new recruits from day one, the Recruit Survey is administered to recruits nearing the completion of their third week of Basic Combat Training.
With questions on topics such as recruits’ physical and mental readiness, their recruiter, and administrative preparation, the survey gauges recruits’ thoughts on their experiences prior to and during BCT or One Station Unit Training. The findings will be used to refine RSPs and other recruitment and training.

STAY GUARD RSP Battle Handoff Survey:
As a follow-up to the Recruit Survey, the RSP Battle Handoff Survey is administered to Army National Guard Soldiers who have recently completed Advanced Individual Training or One Station Unit Training. The survey includes questions about the Soldiers’ experiences between enlistment and shipping out, their time in Basic Combat Training and AIT, and their participation in their state’s RSP. The findings will be used to refine RSPs and other recruitment and training.
