What is Well-Being?

Well-Being is a condition that results from the integrated efforts of a system of programs that address the personal—physical, mental, material and spiritual—state of Soldiers, DA Civilians and their family members and their preparedness to perform and support the Army National Guard’s mission.

We are the strongest Army National Guard ever due both to the valor of our Soldiers, the dedication of our Civilians and the steadfastness of our Families. We are an organization with great pride and committed to ensuring all members of our ARNG Family excel at work and in life. Our Soldiers, Civilians, and Family Members are our most valuable assets and their Well-Being becomes one of our greatest responsibilities.

For the ARNG to accomplish its missions at home and abroad we must all take advantage of the numerous opportunities the Army provides for personal and professional growth. The ARNG is dedicated to providing our personnel the Army Well-Being services that address their physical, material, mental and spiritual needs. Enhancing our personnel’s Well-Being enhances our overall ability to meet the needs of this great Nation both at home and abroad. Since 1636, we have served our fellow citizens in times of war and disaster. 370 years later, the ARNG carries on the proud tradition of sending only the best when answering the call to duty. With the Well-Being of our ARNG Family assured our best will continue to be always ready, always there for those in need throughout the world.
